GT40P/1066 was
one of a batch of road cars destined to be sold in America. The
car was shipped out on 23rd December 1966 and had three different
owners in America before eventually returning to England in 1973.
Since 1974, it has been owned by T.C. Harrison of Sheffield, a
Ford main dealer.
At present, the car is
finished in Gulf colours but is still very much in its original
road car trim.
